The Noren Family Farm was built from a lifelong love of animals, family, and the dream of creating a place where both could thrive together.
Mary’s roots began up the road from a small dairy farm, where as a young girl she spent countless days alongside her father. While he helped the farmer with milking, Mary could be found bottle-feeding calves and soaking in every moment she could with the animals. Her childhood was filled with horses, chickens, sheep, and dogs, and from an early age she developed a deep connection to animals and the peace they bring to people.
She grew up riding and showing horses and always knew animals were a part of who she was. Life eventually became busy with raising five children, and although she stepped away from farm life for nearly 35 years, the love for it never left her heart.
Matt grew up in north west New Jersey with his own appreciation for country life and animals. While his true passion has always been classic cars and trucks, building a farm together gave him the opportunity to combine hard work, creativity, and the lifestyle he always loved.
When Matt and Mary met in 2022, they quickly realized they shared the same dream — to leave behind the hustle of everyday life and create a home in the country where they could build something meaningful together. Early in their relationship, they talked about owning land, animals, and the kind of life they hoped to create.
Together, they made the leap. They sold their homes and searched for a property where both of their dreams could come to life. In February 2024, they found and purchased what would become The Noren Family Farm — a dream years in the making. That October, they were married on the farm, surrounded by friends, family, and the life they had worked so hard to build together.
Today, The Noren Family Farm is more than just a farm. It is a place built on love, family, second chances, and a lifelong passion for animals. Through every animal encounter, event, and visit, Matt and Mary hope to share the same joy, comfort, and connection that animals have always brought into their own lives.
